Job Description
CEA is looking for a driven and experienced Territory Manager to lead the growth of our SANY earthmoving equipment range across Central Queensland.
Based in Mackay, this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a high-potential territory, backed by a strong brand and national support network. We’re also offering relocation support to help the right candidate make the move.
This role is ideal for a proven sales professional in heavy earthmoving equipment who thrives on autonomy, building strong customer relationships, and delivering results.
About the Role
You’ll take ownership of an established territory while identifying new opportunities across the Central QLD region. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll deliver a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to delivery and after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales performance and exceed territory targets
Develop and execute effective territory sales strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with civil and construction customers
Identify and convert new business opportunities
Manage the full sales cycle (prospecting through to delivery)
Promote both new and used equipment offerings
Conduct product demonstrations and attend industry events
Support tenders, campaigns, and product promotions
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
Partner with parts and service teams to deliver exceptional after-sales support
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Proven experience in heavy earthmoving equipment sales (essential)
Strong understanding of the civil and construction sector
Demonstrated success managing a sales territory
Confident in cold calling, lead generation and closing deals
Ability to work autonomously and manage a large geographic region
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Experience using CRM systems and sales platforms
High attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
