Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead day-to-day workshop operations at our Darra branch. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee technicians and apprentices, manage workflow, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for supervising workshop staff, allocating work, monitoring productivity, and supporting technical outcomes across servicing, repairs, and warranty work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and allocate work to workshop technicians and apprentices
  • Coordinate job flow and monitor hours quoted vs hours worked
  • Provide hands-on technical support and guidance where required
  • Raise and manage repair orders, quotes, and purchase orders
  • Liaise with Service Administration and Parts to ensure smooth workflow
  • Ensure warranty validity is confirmed and processes followed
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient workshop environment
  • Mentor apprentices and contribute to skills development
  • Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, policies, and procedures

About You

  • Trade qualified with strong mechanical knowledge
  • Proven experience supervising or leading a workshop team
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
