Role Overview: As a Sales/Territory Manager, your primary focus will be to generate new sales and manage existing customer relationships within your territory. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets and promoting our esteemed global brands; Atlas Copco, Ditchwitch, Dynapac, and JCB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Drive new equipment sales and exceed budget expectations
  • Promote Used Equipment: Leverage every opportunity to sell used equipment
  • Implement Sales Strategies: Execute product and application-focused sales strategies as directed
  • Manage Sales Process: Oversee the entire sales process from initial contact to delivery
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with current and past customers
  • Product Demonstrations: Organise and manage product demonstrations within your territory
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, budget, and strategic objectives
  • Represent the Company: Act as a company ambassador at shows, exhibitions, and business forums
  • Administrative Duties: Prepare and submit sales orders and updates to the Customer Database

Requirements:

  • Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in territory management and achieving sales targets
  • Cold Calling Skills: Proficient in generating leads and cold calling
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the market sector and opposition products
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Ability to execute specific sales strategies effectively
  • Professional Representation: Skill in representing the company with customers and manufacturers
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic systems and reporting tools
  • Communication: Strong reporting and communication skills
