At CEA our Horningsea Park branch has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us in the position of Yard Hand. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the yard and is interested in working within a varied work environment.
Your responsibilities will include
- Assist the Workshop Diesel Mechanics as directed
- Ensure workshop is kept neat and tidy
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure machine transfers are made ready for dispatch
- Unloading containers of machines and parts
- Conformance to quality systems and procedures
- Receipt incoming equipment and attachments
- Ensure accuracy of arrival paperwork
Ensure that the general appearance of yard and branch are maintained and kept in a clean and tidy state
- Assisting in other branch related duties as required
To be successful you will need:
- A current Forklift Licence
- Demonstrated work experience in a similar position
- A safety focus - ensure the safety of yourself and your peers
- Mechanical aptitude
- Self-motivation with a focus on service
