CEA is looking for an Electrician to join our team. The role on offer is Permanent full-time. Work on Atlas Copco - lighting towers, generators and more
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Key duties include electrical fit outs on new and used equipment, workshop based manufacturing, some diagnoses and repair of diesel powered industrial equipment such as but not limited to diesel generators, welders, air compressors and lighting towers.
- Field Service work to be carried out as required.
- Perform duties in a multi-skilled team environment including assisting other staff, carrying out manually intensive works and or other remedial tasks as required.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
- Ensure paper work is filled out correctly and in a timely manner.
- Ensure CEA/Atlas policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- At times you may be required to liaise with internal customers on issues relating to products, delivery and warranty when required.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Adhere to and be proactive in the company Occupational Health and Safety policies
- Quality of workmanship. Ensure all works are completed to the highest standards (warranty/rework).
- Productivity - Ensure jobs are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Punctuality and attendance
Role Requirements:
- Experience working on diesel generators/Industrial equipment
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Have a sound understanding and willingness to embrace working within a strong safety culture
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to read and follow electrical schematics
- Able to complete repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable speaking with customers, offering technical support
- Strong fault finding abilities
- Positive can-do attitude
