Job Description

Join Our Team as a National Credit Officer!

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for maintaining outstanding collection and recoveries to minimise aged debtors, ensuring consistency, best practice and effectiveness that reflects CEA's high customer service commitment and culture.

About the Role:

As a National Credit Officer, you will play a vital role in managing collections and minimising aged debtors. Your work will ensure consistency and best practices that reflect our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Collections: Efficiently manage daily cash receipts and ensure timely collection of aging invoices.
  • Invoicing: Handle invoicing, credit notes, and necessary adjustments with precision.
  • Account Reconciliation: Conduct thorough reconciliation of accounts to maintain accuracy.
  • Queries: Address general queries promptly and professionally.
  • End-of-Month Procedures: Assist in the seamless execution of month-end procedures.

  • Proven track record in collecting overdue accounts
  • Exceptional organisational and analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional telephone manner
  • Proficiency in numerical and data-entry tasks
  • Competent computer skills
  • A degree or relevant experience is preferred
